15th Annual Afternoon of Bridal Weddings at Waldorf Astoria Chicago

Modern Luxury Weddings Chicago welcomed a bevy of brides to its 15th Annual Afternoon of
Bridal Luxury wedding, where they sipped and shopped their way through the Gold Coast,
making stops at top bridal salons and restaurants and meeting with wedding industry vendors
and pros for inspiration galore. The event kicked off at Waldorf Astoria Chicago, which was
decked in luxe decor by Taylor & Co. Event Design and featured live entertainment by Cagen
Music. Guests noshed breakfast bites and visited vendor tables before hitting the pavement.
Maps created by Elizabeth Grace charted the course between retail stops, and pop-ups along
the way—such as The DJ Firm’s mobile DJ truck—provided music. Sweet treats from
Bittersweet Pastry Shop, ECBG Cake Studio, Flourish Cake Design, Toni Patisserie and
Vanille Patisserie were provided at each stop, and brides and grooms explored gorgeous
gowns, glam inspo, men’s fashion and so much more. The walk culminated at Thompson
Chicago, with more vendor showcases and a spot to pick up the ultimate luxury wedding swag
bag sponsored by Bloomingdale’s, chock full of goodies and special offers from wedding
vendors to help couples plan their perfect day.
