16th Annual Afternoon of Bridal Luxury at Waldorf Astoria Chicago

Modern Luxury Weddings Chicago welcomed dozens of brides, grooms, planners and tastemakers to the 16th Annual Afternoon of Bridal Luxury, where they sipped and shopped their way through the Gold Coast, making stops at the top bridal salons and restaurants and meeting with wedding industry pros. Taylor & Co Event Design's very own Derrick Taylor once again bedecked the ballroom at Waldorf Astoria Chicago in uberluxe decor that served as an inspiration for couples as they kicked off the walk. The DJ Firm entertained. Guests grabbed a bite for the road and were off, following custom maps that were made by Elizabeth Grace. Each stop featured sweet treats- from ECBG Cake Studio, Flourish Cake Design, Bittersweet Pastry Shop and Toni Patisserie- to fuel guests as they browsed gorgeous gowns and so much more. The walk finished at the Thompson Chicago, where more vendors had display tables and luxury swag bags sponsored by Bloomingdale's were passed out to further help couples plan their perfect day. The charitable wedding walk supported Bright Pink.
