With Chicago’s magnificent skyline as a backdrop, SOS Children’s Villages Illinois staged another noteworthy dinner-party event at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion with the fifth annual Dining and Conversation, an affair to raise awareness and support for children in foster care. Guests, in addition to the fare, also enjoyed table tête-à-tête with high-profile business, political, and news media leaders. Talking nineteen to the dozen were Mary Ann Ahern, Curt Bailey, Patrick Butler, Sebastian Drapac, Ionna Efthymiadou, Jim Kirk, Richard Roeper, Julie Smolyansky, David Vitale, along with crowd darlings Attorney General Lisa Madigan and Father Michael Pfleger. Chicago’s 14th Ward Alderman, Edward M. Burke emceed the night and gave a heartfelt send off to attendees; making it fun and easy to do good to the last bite!
