Lurie’s Children’s Service Board held its 68th Annual Gold Coast Fashion Show at The Geraghty, where guests experienced a live runway show featuring fall and winter designs from Neiman Marcus Michigan Avenue. Accompanied by a cocktail reception with bites from top Chicago restaurants like Mastro’s Steakhouse, Adalina and Ema, the event underscored the organization’s unwavering drive to create meaningful impact through revolutionized care.
Over 500 attendees gathered for the private fashion extravaganza, which was organized by Children’s Service Board President Danielle Hoeg along with co-chairs Marie Geanuleas and Kasey Macha.
Nine-year-old Lurie Children’s Leukemia patient Viviana made her runway debut alongside her cousin in their stylish pink dresses as she assisted the auctioneer with a successful paddle raise and live auction. The event’s $1.3 million proceeds will support the Board’s $2 million investment in the Hematology, Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation Fellowship Program at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
