Chicago Architecture Center's Designing Futures Gala Raises Funds And Honors Jim Parsons

The Chicago Architecture Center (CAC) hosted its annual Designing Futures gala at the historic Ramova Theatre in support of its educational programming, cultural initiatives and advocacy efforts.
The event brought together key figures from Chicago’s architecture and design community, including Carol Ross Barney, Gia Biagi from Studio Gang, CAC’s CEO Eleanor Gorski, former Choose Chicago and CAC leader Lynn Osmond, the Obama Foundation’s Mike Strautmanis, and Department of Planning and Development Commissioner Ciera Boatright.
The evening saw CAC exceed its fundraising goal while honoring longtime board member and education advocate Jim Parsons for his dedicated service. An additional key moment of the night was a VIP panel discussion on the award-winning restoration of the Ramova Theatre, celebrated for its exceptional historic preservation.
