210 Design House, the pièce de résistance for Dandamudi’s Inc.,looks back to commemorate its 25 years of Chicago design history.
A silver anniversary is quite the milestone, and Dandamudi’s Inc. has every reason to celebrate its years of expertise, finely reflected in its accomplishment to create a premier luxe kitchen and home furnishing showroom. President and CEO Rama Dandamudi recalls when they first started out, the company was a change of pace from the ordinary designs that were seen in Chicago’s kitchen cabinetry. Back then, the business had a small gallery in Lincoln Park, at a time when Chicago was evolving and finding its now distinct aesthetic. Following the '90s boom in high-rise condos, the brand opened two showroom locations at Chicago’s Merchandise Mart, with the final component set in place in early 2019 with the opening of its own stand alone design focused building in Chicago’s River North neighborhood,210 Design House.
As part of the offerings at 210 Design House, the company continues to feature and design with such brands as Snaidero and Plain & Fancy while also adding in furnishings and closet systems from MisuraEmme, with more unique product lines being added to complement their current offerings. Some of the projects the establishment has contributed to over the years include 340 on the Park, One Bennett Park, 328 Wisconsin, the Vista Tower and the Bristol in West Palm Beach.
Whether working on individual projects for homeowners or buildings with hundreds of units, the firm consults with architects, designers and developers to tailor to the needs of the client regardless of style or tastes. Dandamudi says, “We’ve worked to curate a collection of premium products from across the world, bring them together and make them available to the high-end consumer. Whether contemporary or traditional, all are available options you can find in one place, all with the same degree of caliber and quality.” Cheers to another 25 years of good design!
