Kitchen Toke's Joline Rivera on Making Time for Wellness

This marijuana maven founded Kitchen Toke magazine to spread the gospel of how food can intersect with cannabis and CBD to treat, restore and relax.

What is your morning ritual? Drinking coffee—it’s the first thing I do before I work out. I also try to read every comment on Instagram so I can interact with people.

What are three things you do to maintain a healthy well-being? Sleeping—I have to have eight hours of sleep—chiropractic care at least once a week and spending time with people I care most about.

What’s one thing you’ve done in the past year to change your health? It’s easy to say I don’t have time, but I decided to make sure I’m taking care of myself, whether that’s with an infrared sauna, a massage, working out or incorporating CBD in my day. It keeps my neck and shoulder injuries at bay—and so does that chiropractor.
