Mira Couture's 50th Anniversary Show

A celebration of the bridal salon Mira Couture's history- and especially of its legendary founder Mira Horoszowski, who, at age 86 years old, still designs and sees clients- this Met Gala-inspired event showcased fashion through the decades. A guest list of longtime clients and fashionable Chicagoans enjoyed a seated lunch and fashion show of Mira's own designs dating back to the 1970's. Current owner Julie Mersine and Mira's daughter, Yvette, were by her side for the entire chic event. Special thanks to additional vendor partners: Hair by Juan Jose, Makeup by Aga, Revel Group and Zzazz Productions.
