Modern Luxury Weddings Chicago Fall/Winter 2024 Edition Cover Party

Modern Luxury Weddings Chicago invited the city’s wedding industry elite to an elevated and experiential soiree celebrating the launch of its Fall/Winter 2024 issue. As they entered The Wellsley—a chic supper club-inspired wedding and event venue in River North—guests were greeted with decadent cuisine from Boka Catering, including a raw bar and a fresh burrata station. HMR Designs adorned the larger-than-life cover image with a larger-than-life bow and adorned the space with elevated neutral floral arrangements. A live electric violinist and DJ from The DJ Firm provided the soundtrack. After words from editor-in-chief Elle Cashin and publisher Amy Allen, guests were invited upstairs to the venue’s Lounge, where a special cake tasting awaited. Romantic wedding cakes by ECBG Cake Studio, CAKE, Toni Patisserie & Café, Bittersweet Pastry Shop and Pistores were on display atop floral-filled lucite stands, and individual tasting plates allowed guests to indulge in each unique flavor combination. As they left for the evening, each attendee was gifted a paper cone of fresh white roses to carry the magic out into the city night.
