Modern Luxury Weddings Fall/Winter Edition 2023 Cover Party

It was a fairytale experience at The Gwen Hotel, a luxury collection hotel, as guests celebrated Modern Luxury Weddings Chicago's fall/winter edition 2023 cover party: A Night of Summer Euphoria. The 9-ft tall magazine cover featuring Chicago Med actress and real bride Jessy Schram anchored the fully immersive style event. Guests walked in to bubbles blown by "bubble greeters” as Michael Bublé tunes wafted through the space, one of several live decor experiences conceived by BeatMix Music in collaboration with Zazz Productions and 99 Haus Balloons. Yanni Design Studio created the ultimate Instagram moments: a lush floral wall popping with hues of the fairest blues, palest pinks and wedding whites, that spilled into a real bubble bathtub complete with a live model from BeatMix Music. More surprises were in store: Guests experienced the hotel's brand new Gallery Terrace under a magical hanging installation by Yanni Design Studio and were delighted with the opportunity to be on the cover of the magazine. The entertainment and decor expanded to fill the stunning ballroom with BeatMix Music's swanky set of white lacquer instruments surrounded by Yanni Design Studios' newest collection of lounge furnishings, which debuted that night. Wedding industry pros immersed themselves in a total bubble experience by BeatMix Music and dined on mouth-watering bites, specialty cocktails and treats from The Gwen's catering team. Courtesy of the hotel's partnership with Jo Malone, the event featured its own signature fragrance -- Lime Basil & Mandarin -- that guests experienced at a custom fragrance bar. The sweetest part of the event? Six stunning cakes on display -- each featured in the magazine's cake editorial "Ancient Wonders" -- from Chicago's top wedding cake couturiers: Bittersweet, Cake Chicago, ECBG Cake Studio, Flourish Cake Design, Toni Patisserie and Vanille Chicago. A Party Guest Phone was also on display, guiding guests to leave a message about what they loved most about the night and, as a parting gift of course, Modern Luxury Weddings Chicago's newest edition.
