Modern Luxury Weddings Spring/Summer 2024 Cover Party | Underground Cocktail Club

In early spring, guests gathered at The Underground Cocktail Club for a swanky celebration of the latest issue of Modern Luxury Weddings Chicago. A red-carpet entrance, paparazzi-style photography, and live music wafting from the theater stage made it a glamorous night to remember. Attendees enjoyed sushi and appetizers from Sunda New Asian and signature cocktails while they danced to music from Gold Coast Events band The Gold Coast All Stars. (Among their standout hits was a unique rendition of Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” that would give the Grammy winner a run for her money.) The venue oozed elegance thanks to decor by Yanni Design Studio, who decked the entrance with lanterns and candles to provide soft, moody lighting. Designers, photographers and influencers alike were in attendance—but one guest really stole the show: cover dog Oliver. The golden retriever made an appearance with his mom and dad, Katie Kearney and Cooper MacNeil, whose wedding was featured in the Spring/Summer 2024 issue. (As a true guest of honor, Oliver sat at his own booth and was the best-behaved boy at the party.) Guests left with gift cards to Sunda New Asian, Modern Luxury Weddings’ newest issue, and plenty of fabulous new memories.
