Chicago-based designer Priya Chhabria showcased at New York Fashion Week for the first time in February 2024, with an event attended by fashion influencers like Khushi Jain, Ashna Gray, Priya Mukherjee, Vidhya, Taara Sajnani Das, Ami Sheth and Hira Mustafa. Chhabria’s fall/winter 2024 collection, dubbed “Starlight,” is inspired by fashion icons from Madonna and Cher to Princess Diana, plus a variety of Indian icons. It features lace corsets, draped skirts and sari-inspired ensembles with pearls, crystals, feathers and beads.
