The owner, Lulu Cleary, has created a “big city” feel in a small town, giving brides the opportunity of browsing through their curated selection of exclusive collections by world renowned designers, and gifting brides their once in a lifetime moment inspired by their clients’ love stories.
During Lulu’s wedding planning she noticed a gap in uniqueness and inclusiveness when shopping for “the dress”. She felt she had to settle, and a bride should never have to settle when it comes to something so important. An event of this importance happens only once in a lifetime!
This is when she realized she had to find and create a space where brides didn't have to travel into a big city just to find their dream dress. Lulu is “proud to introduce Gilded Rose Atelier to the world. We work hard everyday and continue to strive in presenting hard-to-find collections from well renowned International and Domestic designers that embodies the intimate architecture of a gown. Gilded Rose’s main focus is finding and introducing these unique International designers to the US market”
When asked what drives her, Lulu said, “the joy and emotion I find amongst the sea of beautiful intricate gowns makes my world full of excitement! Having the pleasure of meeting brides from all over the world and hearing their love stories give me butterflies. It is important for me to be able to offer more than what is inside the box of traditional wedding designers.”
Gilded Rose Atelier presents a collection of gowns showcasing a celebration of flawless workmanship, luxurious fabrics, and handmade lace and beading, with designs by some of the world’s top bridal and evening wear designers. At Gilded Rose you will find luxurious international designers such as British designer Halfpenny London, creating innovative chic dresses and separates for the modern bride, having dressed some fashion icons such as Kate Moss, Erin O’Connor, Millie Mackintosh and Emilia Fox.
Another collection introduced by Gilded Rose Atelier is Nouvelle Couture by Greek designer Costarellos. He is inspired by the spirit of ancient Greek philosophy and infuses a breath of fresh air into his creations. Another amazing designer, Australian based Karen Willis Holmes, offers five unique collections that caters to every aesthetic, style and personality.
