Aisle Style

| April 27, 2012 | Parties National

THE PARTY Belle Vie Bridal Couture hosted an unveiling of its exclusive spring collections with a runway show at Waldorf Astoria Chicago. THE SCENE Brides settled into high-back couches and plush pillows with flutes of Dom Pérignon in hand as passed canapés tempted even the best pre-wedding plan. Models showcased Belle Vie’s bridal gowns by designers Lanvin, J. Mendel, Valentino and Vivienne Westwood to the sounds of Fig Media’s DJ Megan Taylor. And host Jesse Deckard of Event Creative provided the scene-stealing tabletop displays for big-day inspiration. THE HIGHLIGHT When the ring bearer—in preppy khaki pants and a blue blazer—held out a hand for flower girls in flouncy white dresses to file down the runway stairs, oohs and aahs rang out from the crowd.
