Albert Kriemler, luxury brand Akris’ creative director of 42 years, brought his spring/summer ’23 collection from the runway in Paris to Chicago’s SIX10 to celebrate the label’s 100th anniversary. Guests were treated to cocktails, skyline views and a live runway show filled with both archival pieces to honor the house’s prior generations and new, innovative takes on classic designs.
The event was hosted by Kriemler and a team of Neiman Marcus executives, a nod to Akris’ long-standing collaboration with the store that dates back to 1992.
In celebration of the anniversary, Akris dropped an 18-piece collection in collaboration with the store, which is available exclusively to Neiman Marcus customers.
Models donned a rainbow-hued wardrobe.
Chic looks were the stars of the night.
The 1922 cocktail was garnished with a heart-shaped ice cube.
