The Party The Art Institute of Chicago hosted the opening night gala for the museum’s new exhibit, They Seek a City: Chicago and the Art of Migration, 1910-1950. The Scene More than 300 guests enjoyed a first look at 80 works of art, which explore the way migration and immigration during the first half of the 20th century shaped Chicago. They danced to the big band sounds of Terisa Griffin with swing dancers in full costume and played blackjack and craps in the vintage gaming lounge. The Bottom Line Proceeds support the Leadership Advisory Committee’s mission to promote diversity at the museum. Photos by Victor Powell
