The Chicago chapter of the American Institute of Architects, helmed by AIA Chicago President Drew Deering, announced the 2022 recipients of its signature architectural design award program during Designight 2022. Pritzker Pavilion was packed with architectural professionals from across Chicagoland and, for the first time, the event was open to the public.
Wait Wait...Don’t Tell Me!’s Peter Sagal hosted the event and kept the energy alive in the pavilion’s lawn.Ralph Johnson, FAIA, LEED AP, principal and global design director of Perkins&Will, received the 2022 AIA Chicago Lifetime Achievement Award.
A stellar lighting display by Kobotech illuminated the stage as winners accepted their awards, which honor the top-level talents in Chicago’s architecture industry.
Rob Deering, Max Adams and Robyn Payne kept their eyes on the stage at Designight.
