Auditorium Theatre Hosts Annual Gala At Palmer House

The Auditorium Theatre hosted its 2024 annual gala at the Palmer House Hilton, where guests enjoyed a cocktail reception, awards presentation and performance by Chicago vocalist E. Faye Butler.
Nearly 250 local philanthropists and art lovers attended the gala, which was co-chaired by Greg Cameron, Pamela Crutchfield, Phil Lumpkin and Lou Raizin. WGN TV’s Gaynor Hall emceed the event, where the Adler & Sullivan Award was awarded to Joyce Chelberg for her dedication to the Auditorium Theatre, and the Beatrice Spachner Award was awarded to Poetry Foundation president Michelle Boone for her commitment to social justice and artistic organizations throughout Chicago.
The historic venue raised well over $250,000, which will support the preservation and restoration of the theater as well as its ongoing cultural and educational programming.
Iconic Chicago actress E. Faye Butler served as the evening’s emcee.
