THE PARTY PAWS Chicago hosted its ninth annual Beach Party at Castaways at the North Avenue Beach Boathouse. Humans and their much-loved pooches filled the upper deck. THE SCENE The pet fête was presented by North Community Bank and Pomellato among others. Guests enjoyed cocktails and conversation over a dinner buffet with views of Lake Michigan. THE BOTTOM LINE As one of Chicago’s largest pet-friendly events, more than 400 people and 100 dogs showed up to help raise more than $210,000 for homeless pets. Photos by Malia Rae Photography
