Located in Chicago’s historic Fulton Market District, The Dalcy blends timeless elegance with rustic charm. The exposed brick walls, custom velvet drapery and curated decor evoke a sense of sophistication that complements the venue's original architecture, featuring large windows that overlook the city and bathe the space in natural lighting. With a capacity up to 300 guests, the 6,000 square foot private event hall proved to be the ideal space for Priya and Brian’s dream of an intimate, yet grandeur, wedding to bloom.
While The Dalcy offers a plethora of onsite amenities, the loft-style space allows for endless customization and imagination, allowing Priya and Brian to incorporate personal elements true to their vision. In a romantic display, The Dalcy’s team of dedicated planners collaborated with local floral designer, Steve’s Flower Market, to create a stunning arrangement of over one thousand hanging tulips carefully suspended by the stem. With an ethereal atmosphere above the couple as they exchanged their vows, the round seating-inspired arrangement brought friends and family into the ceremony, filling the space with a sense of warmth and unity. Sharing a kitchen with Aba, a Mediterranean restaurant with a California influence, wedding guests can expect a celebration that doubles as a memorable culinary experience as they move into cocktail hour and beyond.
The Dalcy offers three customizable menu packages, each featuring a variety of bar and dinner menu options to suit every wedding’s unique needs. Attention to detail is paramount, from the initial planning stages to execution, with The Dalcy team encouraging Priya and Brian to set the foundation by imagining how they, and their guests, wanted to feel on their wedding day. Working closely with trusted vendors and the couple themselves, the team worked to ensure each and every detail was accounted for and set in place every step of the way, resulting in a wedding day that beautifully blossomed into Priya and Brian’s vision of intimacy, romance and elegance.
