Chicago native, beauty guru, author, health coach and entrepreneur Bobbi Brown has unveiled the first Midwest location for her beauty brand, Jones Road. The 1,050-square-foot Bucktown storefront opened mid-April, joining four retail locations in Montclair, N.J.; New York City, N.Y.; East Hampton, N.Y.; and Palm Beach, Fla.
“Opening in Chicago has incredible significance for me personally and professionally,” says Brown. “It’s not only where I grew up. It’s also where I was first encouraged to pursue a career in makeup, which, over the last 40 years, has taken me across the U.S. and all over the world. I’m excited to return to my Midwestern roots, see my family and friends here, and bring Jones Road to the Chicago area. My Poppa Sam, who owned car dealerships in the Chicago area and was the first entrepreneur I watched build a business, would be so proud.”
Brown founded Jones Road in 2020, set on offering multi-use, skincare-infused products that can be used by beauty enthusiasts of any age, skin tone and skin type. Less than five years later, the brand has gone viral for products like the WTF What The Foundation, a skincare-infused moisture balm and foundation hybrid, and the Miracle Balm, a light-reflecting butter for the cheeks.
Jones Road Chicago will offer products crafted from natural, skin-nourishing ingredients, such as jojoba oil, vitamins A and E and shea butter. The location will also host events and live workshops for fans, beauty lovers and the brand’s 45,000 Facebook loyalists to get an inside look at their favorite Jones Road products. Jones Road Chicago is located at 1655 N. Damen Ave.
