The Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago hosted a circus extravaganza at Saddle & Cycle Club to celebrate its 19th Annual Guild Board Lawn Ball. Themed “Under the Big Top,” the event featured performances by tightrope walkers, fire breathers and a Champagne skirt performer.
Notable attendees included Ebonnye, the 2024 Youth of the Year; DJ Marcus Prince; auctioneer John Walcher; and Joe Ferraro, chairman of the organization’s board of directors. With nearly 250 guests in attendance, event chairs Jancy Audet, Chris Brannan and Carter Wojteczko played a pivotal role in making the gathering successful.
During the live auction, attendees bid on enticing prizes, including a luxury vacation to the Bahamas, an exclusive Napa and Sonoma retreat and a premium suite at the United Center, raising over $511,000 for the cause. The proceeds will support The Boys and Girls Clubs of Chicago, which focus on fostering academic success, developing responsible citizens and providing a stable and safe environment for local youth.
