“The internet’s favorite sheets” are coming to Chicago and the brand is bringing its ever-growing collection of bedding, bath goods, candles, robes, and accessories.
New York-based luxury home goods company Brooklinen has joined the bustling West Loop and opened its first-ever location in the Midwest on Saturday, Feb. 4.

Brookline specializes in all things comfort – from bedding and sheets to towels, robes, and loungewear. Its best-selling and award-winning products include the Classic Core Sheet Set, Down Comforter, Super-Plush Robes, and Super-Plush Bath Towels. For the first time, the Midwest can see (and feel) the comfort of the products in real life.
To create the Chicago studio, Brooklinen continued its partnership with the interdisciplinary design studio Office of Tangible Space. With the mission statement of “We want you to be comfortable” in mind, the space is designed to invoke a modern and minimal, yet lived-in and relaxed environment.
While on vacation in 2012, founders Rick and Vicki Fulop sat down on their hotel bed and had the same thought: “These sheets are really nice!” The luxury hotel sheets were everything they’d dreamed of for a perfect night's sleep but at a price point out of their budget. In 2014 they founded Brooklinen to make high-end linen at affordable prices and products that would appeal to a younger market. They’ve since turned the idea into a $100 million brand, according to the podcast “How I Built This”
Brooklinen opened its first brick-and-mortar location in Brooklyn, N.Y. in 2020 and has quickly expanded since. The Chicago location is their first to open in 2023 and joins six other locations across the East and West Coast, staffed with self-proclaimed “expert nappers.”
Brooklinen promises to offer luxury products at less-than-luxury prices. By using luxury materials, partnering with top-caliber factories, and cutting out the middleman in its supply chain, the direct-to-consumer brand has been able to deliver on this promise.
Brooklinen is located at 936 W Randolph Street and will be open from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday - Saturday and 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Sundays.
