THE PARTY More than 500 guests, including Peter Martino, Mamie Walton, and Bill and Joane McLeod, gathered at the historic Palmer House Hilton for the Alexian Brothers Foundation’s 27th annual Ball de Fleur. Titled Centuries of Charity and Charm, the 1920s-themed event showcased period-inspired music, decor... and even flappers! THE SCENE Guests enjoyed a cocktail reception and silent auction in the Red Lacquer Room before moving to the Grand Ballroom for an address from Alexian Brothers President and CEO Mark Frey. A four-course meal was followed by a live auction, dancing and music from the Al Sofia orchestra. THE HIGHLIGHTS The gala raised $340,000 to benefit the Alexian Brothers Hospice Residence, the Center for Mental Health and the Housing and Health Alliance. Photography by Bruce Powell Photography
