Camping Out

| April 7, 2014 | Parties

Almost 1,000 guests came together at The Field Museum for Family Night at the Museum, the second annual benefit for Camp Kesem, a nonprofit that provides support for children affected by a parent’s cancer through a nationwide network of free summer camps. Revelers explored the museum’s many exhibits before a seated dinner in Stanley Field Hall, where the tables were decorated with gingham linens, pinecones and miniature lanterns. A fast-paced live auction filled with once-in-a-lifetime experiences (the opportunity to throw the first pitch at a Cubs game went for $10,000) contributed to the $500,000 raised at the event. –Photos by Dawid Klimek and Owen Stevenson
