What motivated you to start your business?
Although I didn’t start our business, I had the privilege of acquiring a company with a rich history in the Chicago events world, built on an outstanding reputation and supported by an even more remarkable team—one that feels like family to me. It’s an incredible honor to be entrusted with creating unforgettable events and celebrating life’s most meaningful milestones with our clients.
What is your best advice for engaged couples?
My advice to engaged couples: don’t let the weight of others’ expectations dictate your wedding. Plan a celebration that reflects you and your partner—a day you’ll look back on with joy and fondness. When you get engaged, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by opinions and traditions, but the most memorable weddings are those that authentically celebrate the couple and what makes their love story unique.
What is the most gratifying part of your business?
The people. The ones I work with side by side every day to produce incredible events but also the incredible Chicago events community we get to collaborate with every day to strive for excellence together. It is so cool that with every event, we get the chance to do something we have never done before and to always challenge ourselves to be better.
How far in advance should couples book your business?
Gone are the days when weddings were planned 18-24 months in advance—that’s now the exception rather than the rule. For peak season, we recommend booking 8-10 months ahead to secure your date and avoid disappointment. That said, we’re no strangers to planning weddings with less than six months’ notice, and we’ll always say “yes” when we can!
What big news do you want to share?
We’re thrilled to unveil The Moraine Events, our newest exclusive venue and the North Shore’s crown jewel of event spaces. Formerly the Highland Park Country Club, The Moraine has undergone an extraordinary transformation, seamlessly blending timeless elegance with modern luxury. We are actively booking for 2025 and 2026.
