Inside Chicago Dancers United's 32nd Annual Dance For Life Fundraiser

Chicago Dancers United hosted its 32nd annual Dance for Life fundraiser at the Auditorium Theatre, followed by a lively afterparty at Venue SIX10.
Gail Kalver, dance community leader and former executive director of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and River North Chicago Dance Company, was honored, among the 1,600 attendees, including co-chairs Victor Alexander and Maray Gutierrez, Sara Schumann and more.
Performances by artists from BOOM CRACK! Dance Company, The Joffrey Ballet and more set an energetic scene, as a new partnership with Shirley Ryan AbilityLab was announced. Chicago Dancers United raised more than $365,000 to support The Dancers’ Fund, which provides Chicago dance professionals financial support for medical care.
