Heads up, foodies: Chicago Restaurant Week is back. From buzzy new hot spots to familiar favorites, more than 350 eateries across the city offer exclusive menus from Jan. 19 through Feb. 4. Here, 10 of our must-hit spots.
120 E. Delaware Place
Celebrate 75 years of Garrett Popcorn and Four Seasons Hotel Chicago’s 35th anniversary this Restaurant Week. Starring the bounty of the American Midwest, items like mac ‘n cheesecorn bites with a Garrett Popcorn cheesecorn garnish, pan-seared scallops and chocolate Garrett Popcorn ice cream accompanied by nitro chocolate Garrett Popcorn puffs offer much to be excited about. $59, reservations can be made here.

This laid-back upscale restaurant features American cuisine prepared with ingredients sourced from regional farmers and purveyors. Executive chef Nicholas Marino offers fusions of classic traditions with a bold Chicagoan culinary style. Explore the lunch menu with classic dishes like fried chicken sandwich, French onion soup and a chocolate cream torte. Select a starter of truffled Jerusalem artichoke soup or green bean salad from their dinner menu along with entree options of steak frites or shrimp agnolotti. Costera Cocina Tulum's surf and turf

Parker Hospitality's new restaurant in the Fulton Market District, Costera Cocina offers a melting pot of Tulum’s flavorful coastal cuisine with a bohemian atmosphere that transports diners to the lush jungle and serene beach while simultaneously incorporating Tulum’s nightlife. Try bites like the hamachi tiradito, asada tacos and sweet delights like the coconut rice pudding. Brunch and lunch $25, dinner $59, Reservations can be made here.

Named one of the 50 best places to eat in the U.S. by The New York Times, Daisies is a must-try. Expect a four-course dinner that highlights plates like beef tongue with dill, clam vinaigrette and cabbage, stracci with lamb sugo, soft herbs and pecorino, and raspberry pretzel pie. $59, reservations can be made here.
500 N. Clark St, #465
Chef José Andrés’ Spanish tapas spot Jaleo offers an exciting three-course menu. Dinner offerings include gazpacho de Algecirés (chilled Spanish soup with tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers) and dátiles con tocino (fried bacon-wrapped dates with apple mustard sauce). Enjoy award-winning chef Jonathon Sawyer’s latest four-course creations right in the heart of the city. Wonderfully wood-fired beets are followed by the option of either crispy Brussels sprouts or a caesar salad for the second. For the third course select plates like mushroom bolognese, half a rotisserie chicken, or a cedar grilled salmon. Top it off with a Frango Mint chocolate cake or a spiced cookie butter cheesecake. $59, reservations can be made here.
Miru's tuna shiso

One of the hottest culinary debuts as of late, Japanese spot Miru at the new St. Regis Chicago is one of the most exciting participants in Restaurant Week. From miso black cod and flat iron steak to wild mushroom sizzling rice and chocolate silk tarte, the restaurant's impressive range is showcased. $59, reservations can be made here.
The brunch tower at Nisos Prime
802 W. Randolph St.
This new modern Mediterranean steakhouse from Parker Hospitality is a must-try during Restaurant Week. Head to the West Loop eatery for plates like American Wagyu carpaccio, chicken valdostano and banana cream pie to get a taste of this new hot spot. $59, reservations can be made here.
932 W. Fulton St.
Top Chef winner and Chicago native Joe Flamm’s popular Fulton Market eatery Rose Mary is another must-hit. Plates like tuna crudo, radiatore cacio e pepe and 16-ounce lamb saddle offer a taste of this buzzy Mediterranean spot. $59, reservations can be made here.
163 N. Green St.
Northern California-inspired spot The Oakville Grill & Cellar presents plenty of tempting offerings this year. For brunch, mini cinnamon rolls and a fried chicken sandwich are on the menu, while lunch and dinner items include crispy kale and spinach pizza, a slow smoked steak sandwich and more.
