The Children’s Ball returned to the Hilton Chicago for its black-tie Curiosity Cures gala. Bringing together more than 900 guests in support of the Children’s Research Fund’s campaign, the lively soiree kicked off in a style with a drumline that led guests to the International Ballroom.
Dr. Elizabeth and Andrew Reyes served as 2023 Children’s Research Fund Campaign and Children’s Ball co-chairs. President and CEO Dr. Thomas Shanley, Children’s Research Fund Chair Peter Bensinger Jr. and Dr. Sonali Chaudhury shared insights into pediatric research and promising treatments.
The ball raised nearly $3.5 million, contributing to the $4.66 million for the organization’s annual campaign, to support the Fund’s commitment to Advanced Therapeutics at the Stanley Manne Children’s Research Institute at Lurie Children’s Hospital.
