THE PARTY Share Our Strength hosted Taste of the Nation at the Navy Pier Ballroom amongst a who’s who from Chicago’s restaurant and bar scene. THE PLAYERS Co-chaired by RJ Melman (HUB 51 and Paris Club) and Mindy Segal (HotChocolate Restaurant and Dessert Bar) and emceed by Steve Dolinsky (ABC 7), the event welcomed 1,500 guests to experience the culinary delights of more than 60 celebrated chefs and 25 mixologists, including Stephanie Izard (Girl & the Goat), Rick Bayless (Frontera Grill) and Mark Steuer (The Bedford). THE BOTTOM LINE The event raised $251,000 to benefit the No Kid Hungry campaign to end childhood hunger in America. Photos by Laura Meyer
