Compassion, Fashion & Cocktails 2015

| January 25, 2016 | Parties

Chicagoans immersed themselves in culinary delight and artistic flair earlier this fall. More than 700 affluent professionals, entrepreneurs, media, professional sports and entertainment personas came together for the annual Compassion, Fashion & Cocktails on October 29, 2015, a charity event celebrating fashion and philanthropy that raised money and awareness for the Israel Idonije Foundation. The event was held at The Godfrey Hotel Chicago. Not only did guests mingle with the who’s who of Chicago, they were also able to enjoy amazing food, cocktails and a fashion show. The Godfrey Hotel Chicago hosted a private cocktail reception, followed by the runway fashion show, by international designer Zadig & Voltaire from Paris. Hors d’oeuvres and dessert was donated and cooked at 13 serving stations by 13 local Chicago restaurants, bakeries, and catering companies (25 Degrees, Balena | Boka Group, Blue Plate, Freshii, Frontier | Pioneer Tavern Group, Ixcateco Grill, Loews Hotel Chicago, Real Urban BBQ, Seasons 52, Sugar Bliss Cake Boutique, Sullivan's Steak House, Untitled, and Zoom Pizza Factory). There was a wine tasting hosted by advanced sommelier Jim Bube from Heritage Wine Cellars and a raffle with an array of items from paintings to gift cards. Gift bags were distributed to VIP ticket holders. Live jazz music was provided during part of the evening by Lee Barrie and the rest of the evenings music by djFIXed. A large mural designed for the event and fashion show and was provided by Chicago artist Tony Passero.
