Costume Council Gala

Over 200 guests attended the gala opening of Making Mainbocher: The First American Couturier at the Chicago History Museum hosted by the Costume Council of the Chicago History Museum. Guests were greeted with Laurent Perrier champagne and spent time viewing the exhibition. Gala co-chairs Nancy Connelly, Marci Holzer, and Mary Shearson welcomed attendees, and curator of costume Petra Slinkard presented an overview of the exhibition and its creation. After a five-course, French-inspired dinner catered by Jewell Events, guests danced to DJ Jena Nixon.
