Tell us what makes your business different from other wedding companies?
I think what makes my photography different is that it doesn't rely on trends. My goal is to always provide timeless romantic images that tell the story of a wedding day. I create art that clients love to hang on their wall, incorporating lots of architecture, color & texture.
What is something you constantly strive for?
I always strive to give my clients confidence. I want them to know that I got it handled, and to just be present in the moment, not worrying if we got the right photo, or, if a little rain is something to ruin the day. Creating beautiful images even in tough conditions is something I love doing.
Do you do anything that is signature for your brand?
I love to give clients a beautiful combination of photojournalistic moments combined with gorgeous editorial. I love to pull inspiration from the beautiful editorial you see on the pages of Vogue, Vanity Fair & GQ, incorporating those artistic elements in to your images.
What is the most gratifying part of your business?
Being able to provide a tangible memory of a couple's most important day. It's wonderful to be able to capture those images, and anytime in the future, my clients, their family, and future generations can look back and truly see what their wedding day was.
What do you think is essential for any wedding?
Quality Groom's Attire! While yes, much attention is rightfully given to those in perfectly steamed white dresses, an essential should also be groom's attire that is well curated. I can't tell you how very different the photos look from weddings where a gentleman has properly fitting & tailored formal wear or suiting!
How far in advance should couples book your business?
I only photograph about 8-10 weddings per year, so booking as far in advance as possible is always best. Much like choosing a quality wedding planner it is typically a year out from your wedding day.
