THE PARTY Richard and Inese Driehaus, along with Driehaus Design Initiative, celebrated Chicago’s fiercest fashion students at the 10th anniversary celebration of The Driehaus Awards for Fashion Excellence. THE SCENE A sellout crowd of 400 enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while participating in a silent auction. A runway show and awards program followed, showcasing fashion’s future as well as past participants. The night was capped off with an after-party and live music. THE BOTTOM LINE In first place, Que Shebley walked away with $5,000, and more than $125,000 was raised for the Chicago Fashion Incubator, an organization that supports emerging local designers.
