Travel a little more than 30 miles outside of Chicago and you will find yourself in a one-of-kind barn wedding venue that radiates charm and elegance. Our barn features rows of romantic lights, soaring ceilings and enough space to host 250 guests. Originally crafted as a working hunter jumper competitive horse barn in Lake County, our venue is now a destination experience where life-changing memories are born.
Millburn Stables offers both a separate indoor ceremony space as well as a ballroom space. We provide 72-inch round tables, 250 X-Back wood distressed chairs and 200 white padded ceremony chairs in our climate controlled chic and sophisticated barn. Our venue offers five distinct spaces: Bridal Suite, Groom Suite, Ceremony space, Grand Ballroom and an original Horse Aisle that is beautifully decorated with multiple furnished stalls available for cocktail hour as well as photos. The barn also boasts authentic memorabilia from the historic Arlington Racetrack as well as several aged whiskey barrels.
From start to finish our professional team will ensure every detail at the venue runs smoothly from the early planning stages up until you say “I do.” Our event coordinators work with clients throughout the entire planning process. Millburn Stables offers all-inclusive options such as customizable menus, linens, china, bar packages and more. Additionally, we offer buffet and plated dinner options. Each package provides a full-service staff during your event. You’ll also find much-needed amenities such as a modern dance floor, sweetheart wood farm table for the wedding party, a state-of-the-art sound system, plus a video projector featuring a 14 ft. screen.
Millburn Stables was founded in 1992 and used as a primary show barn. In 2022, Millburn Stables was transformed into a classic rustic event venue while still holding onto the charm of an upscale horse barn.
