THE PARTY More than 400 guests attended the 12th annual d’Vine Affair, a wine tasting hosted at the Union League Club of Chicago. This vinocentric event offered guests tastings from 250 premium wines presented by nearly 90 vintners from around the world. THE PLAYERS Bob Bansberg, Chicago sommelier, and Patrick Fegan, founder of the Chicago Wine School, led seminars providing guests with expert advice on how to select and enjoy fine wines. THE BOTTOM LINE Nearly $100,000 was raised to benefit the Catholic Charities’ self-sufficiency programs, which assist individuals as they achieve education goals, obtain employment and housing, and ultimately reach financial independence.
