THE PARTY The Chicago Auto Show hosted its First Look for Charity gala at McCormick Place, where 1,000 new vehicles were on display—dozens for the first time ever. THE SCENE All donning black tie, 10,000 guests were greeted with a glass of Champagne before proceeding to the tasting stations from restaurants like Fogo de Chao, David Burke’s Primehouse and Real Urban Barbecue. American English and the cast of Million Dollar Quartet provided the live entertainment. THE BOTTOM LINE More than $2.2 million was raised, boosting this event’s total to nearly $37 million, which the organization has donated to Chicagoland charities over the course of 22 years.
