Four Seasons Hotel Chicago celebrated its 35th anniversary with a dinner themed “Seasons of Culinary Excellence’’ at the luxury property’s Adorn Bar & Restaurant.
Adorn executive chef Richie Farina, alongside past Four Seasons toques Carrie Nahabedian, Kevin Hickey and Sarah Stegner, prepared a four-course dinner (think rhubarb glazed duck and short rib with spring vegetable “risotto”) for over 100 VIPs and industry luminaries, including Ina Pinkney, Art Smith, Phil Vettel and Hans Williman, who opened the property in 1989.
Proceeds from the philanthropic event supported Howard Brown Health, a Chicago nonprofit that provides affirmative healthcare and support to the LGBTQ community.
Guests enjoyed white asparagus with blood orange Maltaise sauce, candied Meyer lemon, morels and spring greens.
