Fried Chicken & Champagne Fest

The chickens flew the coop into the fryer for Kendall College Trust’s (KCT) fourth annual Fried Chicken & Champagne Fest. The event benefits the KCT’s scholarship fund for culinary students with financial need as well their summer culinary camp for CPS high school students from Chicago’s underserved communities. Nearly 400 revelers showed up to sip Champagne and sample some of Chicago’s finest chef’s take on fried fowl. Farmhouse took home the Golden Hen award and etta Restaurant won the Peoples’ Choice award. Joe Rizza from Prime & Provisions took home award for Best Table Decor.
