Friends Forever

Kids in Danger, a nonprofit dedicated to improving children’s product safety standards, chose the Mid-America Club for its Annual Best Friend Award Night, which recognized Inez Tenenbaum, former chairman of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. The 80th-floor venue atop the Aon Center buzzed as guests browsed auction items and sampled gourmet bites from Beatrix, South Water Kitchen, 312 Chicago and more, while Smoque BBQ’s pecan bread pudding ended the evening on the sweetest of notes. –Photos by Robert Foulk and Tomer Keysar
