Singer-Songwriter Michael Franti perfromed a concert to benefit Friends United for Juvenile Diabetes at Metro Chicago. The event raised money to help fund research at University of Chicago's Kolver Diabetes Center and additional cutting edge research being done around the country for a cure and to improve the lives of those living with juvenile diabetes. Guests enjoyed dancing all night long to Michael Franti's wonderful performance while mingling and enjoying drinks and small bites with other supporters of the cause. Susie Mandell, Co-President of Friends United was in attendence as well as Event Co-Chairs Franny and Michael Zucker.
