THE PARTY A soldout crowd of 1,900 fashion lovers gathered at the Harris Theater for the annual Macy’s Passport Presents Glamorama, featuring a dazzling runway show and all-star entertainment. THE SCENE The spectacle began with a thrilling gravity-defying acrobatic performace from members of Cirque du Soleil, followed by models showcasing alluring fall looks from such influential designers as Tommy Hilfiger, Max Mara and Jean Paul Gaultier (and a troupe of skivvy-clad male models, a Glamorama tradition and audience favorite). Rising pop rock group The Summer Set performed their hit single, “Boomerang,” while headliner Sheryl Crow brought the crowd to its feet with a set that included chart-topping hits like “All I Wanna Do” and “Soak Up the Sun.” After-party ticket holders then moved to Millennium Park’s Rooftop Terrace, where they enjoyed late-night cocktails, delicious sweet and savory bites, and live beats. THE HIGHLIGHTS Macy’s executive Terry Lundgren was on hand to welcome guests to the show, which raised approximately $250,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana.
