THE PARTY More than 8,000 guests previewed 1,000 new vehicles at the Chicago Auto Show’s First Look for Charity gala at McCormick Place. THE SCENE Blues Traveler performed as guests sampled a selection of the world’s top culinary traditions. The tastes of annual celebrations like Chinese New Year, Carnaval de Brazil and Independence Day were served by Real Urban Barbecue, David Burke’s Primehouse, Texas de Brazil and more.
