Girl Scouts Annual Tribute To Achievement Dinner Raises Over $600K

On March 29, Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana hosted the annual Tribute to Achievement dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel.

Over 300 guests including alumnae, donors and advocates, came out to celebrate the organization and raise money for current and future members. The event’s purpose was to encourage members to continue representing themselves, others and their communities in a positive way.

GCNWI CEO Nancy Wright and Board President Sidney Dillard delivered opening remarks. Three awards were presented, honoring Bank of America for the Corporate Award, Jessica Sarowitz for the Luminary Award and Sherina Edwards for the Girl Scout’s Own Award. A special presentation was given to highlight their contributions to the organization.

Girls, parents and troop leaders from across the region shared their stories in a video shown to the guests. At the end of the night, the dinner had raised $665,000, which will all go to the Girl Scouts organization.
