Glam It Up

| September 28, 2011 | Parties

THE PARTY Cee Lo Green—known for hits “Crazy” and “Forget You”—headlined the 13th annual Glamorama by Macy’s. THE SCENE Dance performers introduced the show at the Chicago Theatre, followed by models in Karl Lagerfeld for Impulse, Tracy Reese, Sonia Rykiel Collection and more. The Far East Movement took the stage, performing “Like a G6” and “Rocketeer,” and after the “Artrageous” show of fashion, music and dance, the crowd headed to Macy’s on State Street for the famous after-party. OVERHEARD So who would Cee Lo have liked as a mentor when he was young (in reference to his role on The Voice)? “Sly Stone,” he said, as in Sly & the Family Stone.
