Good Deed

| September 12, 2014 | Parties

The Art Institute of Chicago’s Modern Wing was filled with 165 philanthropic guests for Chicago Sinai Congregation’s 46th Annual Spring Celebration. Guests began the evening mingling over cocktails while enjoying the sounds of a cabaret pianist. Partygoers moved to the elegant dining room where they savored a dinner of Burrata salad, sliced roasted beef tenderloin and pistachio creme brulee. What’s more: An auction and raffle helped raise $125,000 for the congregation and the CITYPAK Program, which supplies durable and practical backpacks for the homeless. –Photos by Robert F. Carl
