THE PARTY Chicagoans including Tony Abruscato, Grant DePorter, Bill Kurtis and Tom Ricketts gathered at the Hyatt Regency Chicago to honor Gerald Roper, president and CEO of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce and a founding member of Chicago Gateway Green. THE PLAYERS Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Gov. Pat Quinn honored Roper for his contributions, and Quinn proclaimed the Kennedy/Edens expressway junction the Gerald J. Roper Gateway.
