THE PARTY Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland/Northwest Indiana hosted more than 200 of Chicago’s most charitable citizens at Studio Paris to celebrate the world’s largest Ronald McDonald House, which is currently being constructed in Chicago. THE PLAYERS The Women’s Auxiliary of Ronald McDonald House—and co-chairs MaryAnne Smith, Lesley Prizant Goodman and Carol Beitler—welcomed guests Candace Jordan, Rochelle Trotter, Joel Brodsky, Scott Bobek, Sarca’s Alexis Cozzini and Sequin’s Frances Renk, among others. The crowd dined on signature Paris Club dishes including lamb meatballs, tuna tartare, roasted beet and goat cheese terrine, and pommes frites. The resto’s wines on tap—an ’09 pinot noir and an ’09 pinot gris from Oregon—and mini cupcakes from Foodlife topped off the menu. THE CAUSE The event raised more than $50,000 in support of the House’s future Rooftop Retreat, which will feature the city’s first skyline bricolage mosaic, a custom-created mural made from pieces of tiles, mirrors, paintings and photographs.
