Hat Trick

| July 17, 2015 | Parties National

More than 130 guests kicked off Lake Forest Symphony Guild’s annual American Revolution-themed Mad Hatter Luncheon at Onwentsia Club. Amid the wine reception was an informal fashion show hosted by The Lake Forest Shop, as well as a friendly competition for best chapeau in categories from most cunning to seductive. Following lunch, guests watched Kenilworth resident Barbara Rinella’s dramatic interpretation of The Traitor’s Wife ($17, Howard). It was a special honor to have the book’s author, Allison Pataki, in the crowd. The luncheon’s silent auction and raffle raised close to $15,000 to support the orchestra and its many initiatives.
