THE PARTY The Fairmont Hotel played host to the Misericordia Women’s Board Heart of Mercy Ball and its 650 guests, including the Reverend Monsignor Michael M. Boland, recipient of the Sister Rosemary Connelly Service Medallion, and the family of Brian and Sue Shannon, who received the Heart of Mercy Award. THE BOTTOM LINE The black-tie ball raised more than $600,000 to support the Misericordia Home, Heart of Mercy in Chicago, home to more than 600 children and adults with developmental disabilities.
